Application: Glogster

Kinetic friction is when an object is in motion while static is while the object is stationary.  Using Newton's first law to find out why static friction is more than kinetic friction check out my glogster, click here!

  1. I like how you did your blog in a very creative way. the presentation is excellent. it is easy to follow, which is the most important component in presenting your ideas. The order of the presentation makes sense, and using sled as an example is terrific. the pictures makes the whole page look more like a fun thing to look at than a boring physics blog. However, it might be wise to throw in some equations that illustrate the concepts. but in total, you did a very good job.

  2. Great job Emily. I agree with Justin about adding another representation to your blog.
In one of the Text boxes please fix one of the words, it says "sine" but I think you meant: "since".

  3. Great job!! I really liked your blog!! Your ideas were complete, but you need to just go through and check your spelling. But I really liked how you summed the whole situation and its meaning in the end!

  4. Thank you so much for your comments they were so helpful! It was a good idea to add the equations to further my glogster and the spelling help was great.

  5. much better with the equation, but maybe try to explain it WITH your illistration? for instance, draw/label the forces acting on a sled, and using that equation, show how mathmetically(physically) make sense. Still a little bit wordy, but if you use some physics equations, your presentation will look professional.(not that you need it to be pro)Overall, it is a good insightful presentation.
